As one of important hospital pharmacy affairs, use of narcotics is controlled within limit of The Narcotic Law and so, to promote understanding of narcotic control, survey of medical personnel’s consciousness was carried out in Asan Medical Center by the questionnaire. The result are as follows Medical personnels replied to the survey were adapted themselves well to present restriction of narcotics relatively. In was investigated that prescription quantity of in jectable narcotic per each recipe is desirable to be prescripted as total number of quantity for one day dose and prescription limit of oral narcotic, as quantity of one week dose. Continuous education of narcotic control is required to medical personnee. It was surveyed that the more close communication of narcotic control is necessary between medical personnel and hospital pharmacist.
